Hi, bei uns kommt es leider sehr, sehr oft vor, dass die Kreditkarten von Gästen beim Online Check-in nicht verifiziert werden können und sie eine Fehlermeldung erhalten: online Check-in konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden. Die nötigen Daten werden allerdings an uns erfolgreich übermittelt (für den Meldeschein). Gast denket aber, dass nicht und ruft an oder sendet Email = viel Arbeit für uns. Außerdem stellen wir fest, dass 9 von 10 Reservierungshalter NICHT ihre Mitreisenden angeben - egal ob im selben Zimmer oder separates Zimmer. Umlaute gibt es noch nicht in Mews Kiosk - also kann Herr Müller nicht seine Buchung finden….Das Ganze scheint weit weg von effizient…. oder aber: ich bin weit weg, da ich vieles einfach noch nicht weiß? Gerne lerne ich dazu :-) Über Info würde ich mich sehr freuen. An dieser Stelle schon danke. Sandra Yaron

Hi everyone 👋, One of the next topics we are looking into for the Guest Portal, is giving you more flexibility to decide whether you want to collect the payment card details as part of the online check-in (OCI) flow. Today it is mandatory and we know it does not fit every situation: credit cards are less prevalent in certain countries, it may not be necessary for prepaid rates, it creates unnecessary confusion or drop-offs from guests, etc.We are not ready to launch a BETA just yet 😉 but we’re exploring a few options and wanted to share our current state of thoughts to hear your feedback.Set-it up at the Bookable Service level where you could decide to ask for cards in OCI, or make it depend on whether the rate is (partially/fully) prepaid or not. This is similar to the set-up we have in place for the Booking Engine. I’m wondering whether that’s not granular enough? - i.e. you may want to collect card details for OTA bookings, whether they are prepaid or not, when you only have VCC

Basically I have an Employee X who created a Customer Profile at a certain date. Then changes to that profile has been done over a certain period of time. Then this profile was deleted from Mews, meaning that the customer profile does not exist, it was merged with another profile or deleted altogether.I want to find out that happened to that delete customer profile and what are the actions that were done by that employee on that profile. Knowing that the customer profile doesn’t exist anymore, I cannot go to the action log of that profile, neither do I have an action log for the employee X to know what that employee did. Action Log and Activity Report do not provide that information.Help.

Seeking Best Practice for Inviting Guest Gratuities

In an effort to leverage the Guest Journey within Mews, I have updated our Checkout Invitation to include a note about adding gratuities as part of checking out online and added this to the ‘Rules’ for checking out online. I’m trying to determine whether there is a best practice for doing this already in use by other properties or if there are recommendations for how to improve the process I’ve created. Am I missing any other areas of communicating this within the Guest Journey? I am planning to add an in-room printed piece to the physical Guest experience, drawing attention primarily to the ability to checkout online the day before through the morning of departure and, as a ‘by the way’ mention, including a line about the Guest’s ability to express his/her appreciation for the service and hospitality they’ve experienced during their stay.Within Documents, there’s no option for Instructions, so I chose Rules and I believe this is visible to the Guest only in the Guest portal when compl

Hallo zusammen,weiß jemand, ob es Änderungen in der Zuweisung von Stornobedingungen geben soll?Ich verstehe nicht, warum man die Stornofristen nicht unabhängig von einer Rate hinterlegen kann.@Mews gibt es nicht die Möglichkeit die Restriktionen als zusätzliches Reservierungsfeld einzubauen?Als Messehotel ist es echt anstrengend mit über 20 Raten arbeiten zu müssen, aufgrund verschiedener Stornofristen.Vielleicht hat ja jemand einen Anwendertipp? Hi :)es gibt ja leider (noch) keine direkte Schnittstelle zu eStatistik.core/IDEV um die Beherbungsstatik zu melden.Wie macht ihr das bisher? Ich habe es mit dem Reservierungsbericht und dann gruppiert nach Land des Gastes versucht. Leider wird da dann aber nicht die Anzahl an Personen zusammengezählt.. VG,Dennis

bulk updates Room status

Hey Community, We are seeing a huge potenial in having bulk updates for the room status, we basically need it to be able to make sure guests dont check-in in to early without paying the early check-in fee but still give the oppertunity to have everything ready before coming to the hotel. We use the goki online check-in for that and if a room is on inspectedand the guest checks in the reservation starts automatically even before official check-in time.Idea is to make it possible to change all clean rooms automatically to inspected on a specific time. Does anyone know if this would be possible to build with zapier? Best regardsHendrik

Hey everyone!I'm looking for tips and tricks on transitioning from an old-school front office to a fully self-service front office with a front office host. Anyone with experience making this shift? What were the biggest challenges and how did you overcome them? Firmen mit mehreren Standorten und Abteilungen

Hi Mewser,diese Nachricht kommt erstmal auf deutsch, da wir im DACH Bereich aus Erfahrung am meisten Probleme mit der korrekt ausgestellten Firmen-Rechnung haben.Wie löst Ihr die Suche nach dem richtigen Firmenprofil?Beispiel: Siemens AG hat unter genau dieser Firmierung Standorte in ganz Deutschland und wiederum an Standorten wie Erlangen und München duzende Abteilungen an identischen Adressen. Die Suche nach dem korrekten Firmenstamm beschränkt sich in Mews aber auf den Namen an sich und die Ergebnisse werden nach Zufallsprinzip untereinander ausgegeben. Bis die benötigte Firmenadresse gefunden wird, kann man schonmal 3-4 Seiten “blättern”. Nach dem Ort kann gesucht werden, aber nur wenn dieser Bestandteil des Firmennamens ist, insofern hilft dies meist nicht, da auf der Rechnung nicht “Siemens AG Erlangen” stehen darf.Hat jemand dafür bereits einen work-around gefunden?Vielen Dank im Voraus & beste GrüßeFrank
